I was watching the other Avatar recently :P Of course, I mean The Last Airbender.

And I was always fascinated by the meeting between Aang and the imagined giant animal called Lion Turtle that live in that world. Before the final fight against the Firelord Ozai, the Airbender Aang requests help from that ancient creature. To kill the Firelord would be against his life’s philosophy. So, he doesn’t want to do it.

This statement is the creature’s wise words:

The true mind can weather all the lies and illusions without being lost. The true heart can touch the poison of hatred without being harmed. Since beginning-less time, darkness thrives in the void, but always yields to purifying light.

Ich habe mir letztens das andere Avatar angesehen :P Ich meine natürlich Der Herr der Elemente.

Die Begegnung zwischen der Löwenschildkröte, die in dieser Welt leben, und Aang hat mich immer fasziniert. Vor dem letzten Kampf zwischen dem Feuerlord Ozai, bittet Aang die uralte Kreatur um Hilfe. Den Feuerlord zu töten wäre gegen Aangs Lebensphilosophie. Also will er es nicht tun.

Dies sind die weisen Worte der Kreatur:
